The birth and life of the Buddha is celebrated annually on various dates in the months of April and May in the various countries and traditions of the world. FABC acknowledges the International Buddha Day (April 8) as proposed during the 6th International Buddhist Summit in December 2014 hosted by the Nenbutushu Sect of Japan.
